Software for firmware upgrade of Elcos devices
Software designed to upgrade (or downgrade) the firmware release on a control unit via the available serial port (usually USB or RS-232).
Once the control unit is connected to the PC, the PC will automatically recognize it and it will be possible to upload a firmware release to the control unit.
Since the procedure is invasive and potentially dangerous for the proper operation of the devices, it should only be carried out with the prior agreement of an Elcos technician, who will verify compatibility and provide the firmware release to be loaded.
Elcos does not accept responsibility for firmware updates made without the approval of an Elcos technician, and it should be remembered that an incorrectly performed update may lead to an irreversible firmware block.
Characteristics
The software must be installed on a PC and is compatible with Windows 10 and 11.
Compatible control units
This software is compatible with all Elcos devices that have a serial port.
