searchEnvironmental labeling of packaging
ELCOS adopts a labeling system for the disposal of packaging at the end of its life, based on Directive 97/129 EC.
Packaging materials are identified with a number and acronym that help consumers to dispose of them properly.
According to the indications given by to the European Commission the consumer has to be correctly informed about the disposal of the packaging used for each product. This can be carried out by labels showing the correct packaging acronyms and symbols.
Always check the rules of your municipality for a correct separate waste collection.
